Prof Dirk Lang is one of South Africa's most well-known microscopists and he has helped hundreds of postgraduate students at UCT to acquire the most wonderful confocal images on the microscopes at UCT. He has an incredible passion for imaging and he shares his advice with our young scientists, before he will soon enjoy retirement.
