Dr Janine Scholefield is a stem cell biologist with a passion for microscopy and genetics. She will share with us her journey and how she became "one of those people with a white coat in front of a microscope". After her postdoc at the Oxford University in the UK, she has been working with globally well-known microscopists in a quest to find Nemo! Today she is the lead of a research group who are generating stem cell lines from African ancestry, for more targeted treatment solutions especially for the African continent.
