Why do bioimaging scientists need to connect?

Updated: Mar 21, 2023

At the annual Global Bioimaging Exchange of Experience VII meeting in Montevideo, Uruguay, interviews were conducted to find out why this community is so important. A professional video was presented in October at the International Conference on Research Infrastructure 2022, held in Brno, Czech Republic.

The importance of bioimaging is clear, whether it be light microscopy, electron microscopy, biomedical imaging or other form of imaging biological material. It has a far reaching impact - on our environmental understanding, promotion of health and well being and driving innovation for a better future. If bioimaging scientists connect and work together there is no challenge too great to overcome.
