Global Bioimaging Exchange of Experience 2026

We’re delighted to announce that registrations for Global BioImaging's Exchange of Experience 2026 Event (#GBI_EoE2026) are now open! The event, which takes place October 26-29, 2026 at EMBL, Heidelberg, is designed to bring imaging core facility staff from around the globe together with policy makers, funders and corporate partners for networking and exchange. This year's theme is "Open Access to Imaging around the Globe: Enabling Breakthroughs Through Accessible Imaging Solutions." 

Through interactive presentations, hands-on workshops, and regional networking sessions, participants will explore the evolution of open access in imaging worldwide. Learn directly from experts in different regions, discover emerging platforms and technologies, and engage in discussions with funders and science policymakers about enabling equitable access and driving innovation in imaging. Alongside the core elements of the program — including imaging facility visits and community exchange — there will be a pre-conference day dedicated to strengthening relationships and collaboration with corporate partners.
